I honestly think Rashad is very skilled. He has good hands and good kicks...but he hasnt been using them as of late. Just stalls. When your coach yells to you "DONT HIT THEM, STALL FOR 30 SECONDS" There is a problem...

It's not even Rashad's fault. It's greg jackson's. I hate that guy.

@Backslapped Ahhhh I see the problem. You don't have a sizeable mortgage. because if you did, you'd be worrying about paying it more than you worry about entertaining. These dudes MUST win in order to keep fighting. You want to be entertained and see someone get sent to the hospital. They want to go home and return to their families with as little damage done to their bodies as possible.

@drkfada Beautifully said,brutha.I also would like to add that many fighters from Greg Jackson's camp spend time IMPOSING THEIR WILL during the first round.Rashad has an ATTACKING style,and just because he DOESN'T RUSH OUT THERE STUPIDLY GUNS ABLAZING but instead--gasp!--invests cerebral nuerons in his strategic attacks and sets up his takedowns and pushes the pace of each round and plies his intelligent aggression tactically,fools say he's a blanket.FOOLS RUsH IN WHERE ANGELS FEAR TO TREAD...

@dmattg87 I've seen nearly 100 interviews from Rashad and in well pover 80 of them he's been very articulate and smooth and insightful in his responses.Ofcourse all of us have times where we stumble in search for words,but htese times are the distinct minority in the OVERALL manner in which Rashad handles himself.I suggest that you look for MORE than just MMA live as your main source of how articulate intelligent and charismatic Rashad Evans really is.

Lets see he's called a blanket... but he fought more fights than anyone during TUF and fought Brad Imes who was wayyyy bigger than him off pure heart, owned Salmon, owned Forrest, owned Chuck, Tito fight was close but he still won, and loss to Machida, had a UD with Thiago, and took it to Quinton YET he tends to stall? GET THE MC FK OUTTA HERE. If you ever noticed most of Greg Jacksons fighters spend a good portion of the first roud getting their opponents timing down.

Anybody who calls Rashad boring must've never seen his knockouts over Chuck and Sean Salmon. Just knowing that man could pull off crazy knockouts like those makes me interested in watching him fight.
