  • I choose the 1986 version with Maurice Sendak designs more.

  • One of my childhood Christmas obsessions. I love that Macaulay is in this movie. =)

  • I seen this movie a long time ago. I love this movie. It is so beautiful. I don't mind watching this one again. I only have this movie on VHS.

  • i have this movie on VHS and watched it ALL THE TIIIIIIIMMMEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!! but i LOST IT!!!!!!! i am so depressed lol

  • I have this on VHS, but I saw the stage version of "The Nutcracker" this past Friday at the UPAC in Kingston, NY and I had a great time. It features members of the Catskill Ballet Company and did a great job with that. Kudos to them! This stage show is far better than the 1993 film version. The 1986 version was not that bad.

  • I loved watching this on vhs and I saw this live.... I still remember like it was yesterday.

  • Culkin <3

  • i am in the play as the nutcracker

  • @Digilady99 Yeah, right?? That's why I myself have always enjoyed "The Nutcracker"! It would be awe-inspiring to watch all that happen, and all on Christmas, which would make the experience even more magical and amazing!! Except, I kind of wish that, in the original ballet, it could be Maria and the Nutcracker who dance the pas de deux instead of the Sugar Plum Fairy and her partner. It makes the whole story so much more romantic!!

  • The magic was a movie when they had that Pacific Northwest version with Maurice Sendak's designs and then the cartoon with Kiefer Sutherland.
