Well, at least if they let the murders go back to work people can start fire-bombing police cars. It's not that hard. Just wait wait at one of the fast-food drive throughs in town and when they come get their free coffee...BOOM! Molotov cocktail through the rolled-down window.
Actually, I think the next solution is to start the Jury Nullification Society of Fullerton. It should be a secret society of registered voters who promise not to convict anyone of crimes against the police.
