CBC's Midday aired at the normal time in most markets, but CFPL/CKNX was one of the only CBC affiliates with its own noon newscast so they had Midday at 2 PM.

@heine71 I don't think there were direct similarities - it was an overall review (commercial-free) of whatever top twenty titles were on the Canadian charts
