For the record, I believe something dodgy happened in the elections. But this (and other Western media reports) is standard propaganda. western-leaning iranians in major cities don't speak for the whole country. if the media went outside of the main city centres they'd see the majority of iranians (unfortunately) are generally happy with the current system (i say this from personal experience)
