  • it's funny how ppl can always criticize and leave negative comments.. come on people. videos are posted here for pleasure... if you don't like it, move on.. don't hate. thank the people who posts videos.. as for manual and automatic debate.. manuals are quicker...true.. but how many people can actually shift at the correct timing everyt single time?? hehe..:P people have different tastes and preferences... some like to drive by stick, some manual. :P peace!

  • Sport mode means manual mode, using shifters

  • 9 seconds by my estimate. I just sold this car for a Ralliart. I miss the fuel economy and my sunroof. I do not miss the 0-60 time though.

  • @rayschiro @davidpaulin So you say it simulates gears, like, virtual gears, cause it doesn`t have actual ones :)

  • @sugarqfxxx look at some other cvt lancer videos. the revs do drop by a small amount (1000 or so)....i have the manual and it would drop by alot more than that ^^^

  • @sugarqfxxx There are drops if you're in sport mode. That's prettymuch the whole point of sport mode. It simulates driving a manual transmission, except that the "gears" are just preset ratios, rather than actual physical gears.

  • this is not a cvt transmission, i can see the drops in engine revs while shifting, if this was a cvt there would be not drop in revs

  • lol noob shifting

  • O.o its a joke??

  • @drummingbomb cvt is pure performance. its quicker anywhere between .3 to a 1.5 seconds depending on the manual competition. humans cannot beat machine when it comes to shifting. i have a mk4 manual and evo mr. I use both trannys daily.

  • @timexix yeah but cvt tranmission, rather auto or manual shift is a terrible idea! it takes the fun out of vehicles

  • @LordKevin92 yea see it now my bad.
