A Flash Mob for Peace from flashforpeace.org at Seattle's Pike Place Market on Saturday, April 23, 2011 at noon. It was a beautiful, sunny day in Seattle -- perfect weather for an outdoor flash mob event at the bustling intersection of Pike Street and Pike Place. Thanks to everyone involved and thanks to the happy, supportive crowd, many of whom joined in the singing.
With apologies for the audio quality! We thought the dedicated audio recorder was running, but it wasn't, so we had to use audio from some of the cameras, and the crowd and background noise is too loud in relation to the singers to allow any effective filtering without turning it all into sounding like the inside of a tin can. We'll do better next time!
WE ARE loving this!! We wish that more of these will begin to take place more often and in more cities.. I am hoping to have one million Rainbow Warriors surround the federal courts if they give away our homes to the banks in the lawsuit we have against the banks and the government for mortgage and securities fraud against all the people

I was there and it was GREAT! I love it very much. Was also at Westlake action - the first one. Thank you to Joe Colgan for bringing me into this Loop! The killing of peoples families (Thom Hartmann.com) is what creates HATE in this World! NO MORE WAR. Peace, Shalam, Shalom. We Gotta Let It Shine!

Thank you for taking your action to the streets & putting a face on anti-war sentiment at the local level. Your call to bring the troops home now brought me to tears- my brother is currently serving his 4th, year-long deployment in Iraq. This action has great potential for uniting our citizens here at home- something that is urgently needed.

Flash Mobs are a great way to get the message for peace to people who don't often hear it. Great fun! I'd like to see other cities try it.
