Todd Friel talks to Robert Spencer about the protests in Egypt. How they are similar to the Iranian protests on 1979, and what we can expect if the Muslim Brotherhood wins any 'democratic' elections.
yall need to learn t/ difference between Sunni, Shiite, and Sufi- as well as the religious politics of each. Also t/ suppression of political groups is not t/ primary or even secondary reason for t/ Egyptian uprising. Things have not been prosperious under Mubarak- he has tortured, imprisoned, murdered, & stolen from them. & w/ t/ 30% increase in food costs (they've lost 60%+ of their grain imports) Egyptians are starving. 70% of Egyptians rely on gov't welfare & t/ economy is shit.
@ProdigalSonofLiberty appreciate the feedback, and I agree with your points as well at the ones made by Robert Spencer in the video. Since as you said, I am not a geo-political expert, I hold my views very loosely on those issues. I do not wish to squelch your opinions, but if you could refrain from using profanity - I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks for your input.
