@shalindriaharam You've done the right thing. Here in Australia,enough people writing to Senator Nick Xenophon made him take up their cause. Unfortunately,his call for an enquiry into COS was defeated in parliament,but he says he will never stop until something is done to address the church's abuses. Hopefully,there's an American version of Mr Xenophon out there.
