From Detroit, here are the Keggs!
I've not been able to dig up much about this group, other that where they were from and what year this was released: 1967.
The music is very crude, inept, raw. One or two chords, if you can even call 'em that, and the singing is atrocious. I'm not sure the drummer is keeping the beat.
In other words: I love this record!!!!

  • It's got that real voodoo vibe, like a hex. Something spiritual was captured when they pressed the record button that day. this 42 year old recording puts music today to utter shame. Somewhere within this track is how to express something more than any feeling ever could.

  • nauseatingly beautiful.

  • The thing about Green Day is they once were a great group but back in the 90s when i was a teen. Now they are an overrated, sell out pop band. They were never punk or heavy, but were a good rock/alt. rock band. This song and garage stuff rocks harder than they ever could but really who cares? When I think punk I think Clash, Ramones, Sex Pistols, Bad Religion, Stooges, Stiff Little Fingers not Green Day. Insomniac however was the hardest album Green Day ever did in response to not being punk.

  • This ones cool thanks!

  • This is music.

  • This song is great I'll agree but killing off GreenDay, I can't agree with. There are some really great GreenDay songs and we only have one Kegg song. Now if you want to say it could kill any of the fake-punk-emo bands out there you may have a point. Have you listened to the early Green Day ep's?

  • "You been steppin' out too much girl.....

I don't like that at allllll"

    NOW THAT'S GOOD STUFF MANE!

    Garage forever!

  • @waylo4526

    Haha, well said man.

The Keggs would murder Green Day anyday...

Long live the snooty garage rocker!

    :]

  • i wish there were more bands like this

  • wow nice find ...........................
