Only thing I don't like is that you shouldn't put vitamins in water for any pet. If you have a bird (or pet) that drinks a lot of water and there are a lot of added vitamins in the water you run the risk of overdosing the bird (it's called hypervitaminosis) If you feed a pelleted diet you don't need to add anything, seeded diets can be supplimented with egg food, most powder vitamins will mix great into that.

@fgt73 no just usde newspaper it is cheaper. easier to clean up, and your parakeet may eat the bedding somtimes(which can make them really sick)
