This video shows the police taking food, utensils, tarps, and tents from Occupy SF on the night of October 16, 2011. As it progresses, an officer talks about their gun side, someone is arrested for walking past one of the police officers and the occupiers resist the taking of their supplies.

I wish we could weed out the hecklers . The police work and risk their lives everyday to protect us .Im Not defending the raid(quite the opposite)but If you want to say something to a cop say thank you . Is your mother proud of you .What if that cops mother is dead .Thats the kind of thing that makes cops go off and break heads .SFPD used no tear gas and was peaceful compared to other raids .I am a part of occupy sf . That's ridiculous that violence doesn't solve anything. It's one thing to be non-violent, but unfortunately, if you look at history, violence determines EVERYTHING.

How dare you compare these police officers to the Nazis. You should be thanking god they are nothing like the nazis, otherwise not only would YOU be arrested but so would your entire family! Anyone who spoke out against the Nazis found themselves carted off to an internment camp where they were doomed to die a long horrible death. Here, IF you get arrested you get what amounts to a small slap on the wrist. Be thankful that you were even allowed to protest.

I don't understand why everyone is so upset at the cops for? They are only doing their job and what they are ordered to do. I don't think it's up to them to clean up everyone's trash and listen to them give them hell for it. Be upset at their chief who is giving out the orders instead!

Without the cops there, everything would be out of control and chaos. They're actually there for the city's safety to ensure no damage is done to properties and no one is violent or out of control!
