  • I found an article by Consumer Reports. I was about to get a TWH-but it would have cost me about $3,000 to install. There is NO SAVINGS and all of them are PROPANE HOGS. Most people take longer showers/baths due to unlimited hot water-so where is the savings Others had to wait about 4 to 5 minutes before the cold water turned hot. Many had problems with "sandwich" effect (take hot shower met with COLD WATER). Most convention electric units are actually cheaper than all that propane!! BEWARE TWHs

  • @WinterHaven During the incredibly short period of time when the BOSCH TWH was actualy working, our electric bill showed a savings of (drum roll ...) $ .80 That's 80 cents! After spending thousands to install the damn thing, our monhtly saving was $.80 You can't live long enough to recoup your money ...

Best advice is to stick with a good quality TANKED water heater with a timer (turn it off durig the wee hours).

  • I showed my wife this video, we are looking into getting a tankless. After reading about some other complaints on the web concerning Bosch, we ran across your video and thanks to you, we will be avoiding Bosch like a phone booth in the middle of a shit infested cow pasture. Thanks for the vid! Rheem looks like a better choice.

  • @EchosFromaBlankMind

Echos: BOSCH tankless water heaters suck, and your decision to avoid purchasing one of these pieces of crap is very wise. Kinda like to hear how Rheem wh works out ...

  • We have a Bosch tankless heater and it's the biggest fucking piece of shit on the planet ..perhaps only surpassed by the fucking jerkoffs at Bosch "customer service"

  • @VousEnculez

Amen bro ( try expressing yourself next time )! You're right.. Lousy product is not the only problem here: How you get treated when dealing with BOSCH customer service is at least as big an issue. Hmmm this seems to be a common theme among BOSCH tankless customers ...

  • What a piece of SXXXX! I promise you for sure!

  • I presently own a new one that has never been installed, right now it is at Lows because I rode it down their last night on my motorcycle trying to get a refund, since I cant find my receipt they wan't me to soak on it. All I have been able to find to show any proof of purchase is a sticker that was on the box for $300 dollars, I am glad I found that, now I am going back down there, I was looking real fast for some reviews to print off and take with, I wish I could take this video.REFUND OR DIE

  • So what did you do to solve the issue w/the bosh tankless water heater???? and can you give me so advice so that this matter doesn't happen to me when it's time for me to have one installed at my home.

  • You do know that the $250 is ONLY a core charge, right? You do get it back. in fact, i think you will find that Bosch is only asking for a picture now before they will replace such defective units. Call them, and be nice.

  • I am a Plumber. I have bin a plumber for about fifteen years working in Marin CO. and San Francisco. I moved to Lake CO. 3 years ago. I installed a Bosch 2 years ago. It was the largest propane model they made. I love it.

  • I have the SAME problems with the AE125,same customer service issues which suck.and stone walling warrenty coverage, will be getting lawyer involved with a class action ,anyone interested please advise of your interest.

  • LEAKING is a significant FIRE HAZARD too. Look at all of that wiring, and it's installed next to your circuit breakers.

  • As I research further, I seen OTHER companies - big brand names - with frustrated and angry customers. Perhaps "tankless" is NOT such a great idea. Frankly with my current conventional electric water heater with a TANK-I get hot water in seconds. It has "smart set" which senses those wee hours and automatically turns off during patterns of non use hours. My LAST water heater lasted over 15 years. with very little maintenance.

  • @BOSCHscrewed I can't imagine the frustration and anger you are going through. When I had my TWH on order it would be close to $3,000.00 for the tank with installation. I would also be on obligation to the propane company. I seen your video and a few others like it-I immediately CANCELED. Your video really saved my life! But I really feel terrible for you to be scammed by these sales people like I almost was-"oh it saves money"..it's a space saver-it's a *SCAM*. Tankless heaters FAIL!
