The cutoff, warm up and color flicker of Morimoto Mini H1 HID projectors with Philips H1 HID 4300K bulbs. Retrofitted inside the headlights of 2009 Toyota Corolla with no cutting or drilling. Produces very wide and bright beam pattern with a sharp and colorful cutoff and color flicker. Thanks to Matt at TheRetrofitSource.com for the great product and all the help.

  • when you use the stock housing leveling adjustments, do the lines still stay straight or does the cut off on each side just sort of bend out of line?

  • @interlagos80s During installation you have to rotate them perfectly to make sure the cutoff lines match. Do this before u seal up the headlights again. Good luck.

  • excellent job there with the minis, cant wait to afford this kit for my Ranger. That along with my Accord will make me very happy. Great job!

  • @Snicker60515 Thanks man, its a really awesome upgrade. Completely changes the entire look of the car, and it looks like OEM if you do it right. Ur gonna love it once u have it installed!

  • how do you install the projectors without drilling/cutting?

is the no drilling convenience only available for select models?

is theyre a DIY guide posted somewhere?

  • @enochc17 The neck of the projector is usuallly long enough to go thru the bulb hole of ur original light housing. It has a nut and a washer that u can use to tighten around the original light housing once u have it inserted.

  • @vinchuan2 The car is parked up the sidewalk, thats why the lights project upwards. On level roads u can see the lights slope downwards.

  • I think your projector aiming is way too high, no beam reflect on the front surface of the road.

  • HIDs ARE awesome! Especially when u can do all this in about a day and get excellent results! Thanks for the comments.

  • @kcg795 Exactly right! lol

  • With these projectors, all you do is insert through the bulb hole so it pokes out the back and tighten the nut. Some headlights will require some trimming so the bowl of the projector will seat properly with the reflector of your headlight and the nut will tighten all the way. There's no DIY guide because there's tons of video on YouTube and lots of other retrofits done on HIDPlanet.
