PS3 with YLOD still turns on!

My PS3 has a very strange problem I've never seen, nor heard of before. Ususlly when I turn on my PS3 it gives me the YLOD. I try again and it YLODs again. But strangely it usually works the third or fourth time! Once its on it runs perfectly and never shuts donn on its own.

So If that's our problem, what should we do to not make it worst? When I didn't play for almost two weeks it takes 15 attempts to run normal like yours.

But sometimes a day not using it only 2-8 attempts. Hmmm... What if month? 40 attempts? O M G!

I got the exact same problem with my PS3 80 GB Core model. It ran normal until I downloaded the firmware 3.15, since then I always have to press the power button a first time to hear the three beeps and the see the yellow light, than press again to turn on the console. Here's my video:

I've got that issue for almost two years now, thankfully my PS3 still run games perfectly, even though I mostly use it to watch BD movies nowadays.

em i got the same dam problem!!! mine has work for 2 months!! am afraid it gets worst :S
