  • @steefler007 try it and it will start galloping because the legs are no longer synchronised

  • I thought the song fit the machine. It walks, this song reminds me of a walking robot on some type of battle ground.

  • what would change if the pin at the top of the legs would be stationary and attached to body, and the leg would have that path carved?

  • drum and bass ♥

  • New from WHAM-O! You build it! You make it go! And it really, really works! (^_^)

  • super jenialisimo¡¡¡

  • yo creo que venden uno de esos en los chinos de mi barrio

    eso no es mucha cosa

  • Nice animation. I was thinking about that method of leg drive recently but i was thinking of something a bit different. Please, can you re-make this video with the legs in 3 phase shift? Each leg's gear would be 120° (1/3 of turn) from the other two. Leg #1 at 0°, Leg #2 at 120°, Leg #3 at 240°. Everything stays the same except the 3-phase shift instead of 2-phase. Thanks in advance and hope to see it soon. :-)

  • nice done but very simple project. and btw i think hexapods and other creations in this style (those that ive seen) are not efficient enough cause the simple ones (with one or two driving motors ) are not stable and flexible enough to walk over obstacles amd those with more complex build are too overloaded to be efficient (from 2 up to 4 servo motors pro leg) somebody could try with pneumatic artificial muscles that would not overload the project but compressed air source is there a problem

  • I did the same hexapod in Lego Mindstorms NXT with one motor, too. It really resembled this one.
