A network packet data transaction using Cisco Packet Tracer 4. The simulation may not resemble the true network and what happens, but this simulation intends to teach how the devices involved and the computers and servers, handle tha data....

The music used is a BGM used in the game CABAL Online (http://cabalonline.net) and was freely exposed and available when you install the game (I don't know if they still deploy it this way) in OGG Audio Format.

I apologize for some technical mistakes in the simulation. I am not that good with packet tracer....

  • this is stupid and awful - see TCP/IP complete Tutorial for the real deal.

  • @antigen4 ok there mr pro.... someone doesn't read descriptions and annotations.... they're there for a reason... In fact, let me summarize them in a sentence for you...

This simulation is not technically accurate but was only constructed for one purpose, and that is to show how packets travel and how they are handled on the devices.

That's it, plain simple. If you can't even understand that, then sure... why not go and see a real and much more complex tutorial? like you said. Feel free.

  • Seriously Good Job, Keep it up. Atleast i got an idea how the packets/date move in and out in between sender and receiver.

  • @contactravi2000 Thanks, haven't really received any comment in a while who understood what I'm trying to do in this video... heh, maybe they should try reading the description or the stuff I wrote about this that this isn't an actual technically accurate simulation... It's just built to show how the dev-- wait, I don't think I need to explain this over again...

  • hmm, how to create those simulations with delays or interval? from user 1 to user 2 etc etc..? hehe

  • In simulation mode, you just go to the time frame when you want to fire the packet...

  • Did you change the icons? If not I'm not impressed since these are (appear to be) all switches... But I'm pretty sure that if you would make something like this today, it would be more advanced and have more than just Switches and Cross over cables? Right...?

  • Hahaha excelent! I know how proud can packet tracer make you feel! ;)

  • background music is cool but not for this video.

  • cheater, using switches and naming them routers :P still really awesome! This also helped me a lot, got my physical exam for my CCNA this Thursday, passed my multiple choice exam last week! rather proud :3 but still, thanks, this was useful :)

  • good video thank you!!! i have a test about this tomorrow

  • Yeah.. the music was really needed. Not.

  • After seeing this, i said f it....i quit.

  • @zaghy2zy good work due...now listen i have a project on network simulation and i need ur guidence so give me ur facebook id so that i can talk to u about the project....!!
