Corporal Punishment TVC

The Rawla family lost their son, Rouvan Rawla, a few days before his 14th birthday.

As the days went by, a horror story unfolded. One of the many beatings & humiliation from several of his teachers including the Principal at his school.

We have taken a pledge to fight Corporal Punishment and raise awareness against its evils. This video is the first step to highlight the trauma that a child suffers.

It shouldn't hurt to be a child
Speak out against corporal punishment.

School should not be a place of fear.

So, as to not let anyone else fall to corporal punishment,
join the Anti-Corporal Punishment Movement by spreading this short video and raise awareness.

I was not good at maths and I dreaded every single maths lesson because it would be guaranteed that I would not leave the class without a good thrashing for getting my sums wrong. This video chills me to the bone. Thank goodness CP has been banned in UK. If the teacher did that here in UK, he would most certainly be facing a long prison sentence.

I had 2 sessions with psychiatrist after facing corporal punishment in College (YCCE Nagpur). Im diagnosed with MDD (Major Depressive Disorder) and I Left the college.
