Keyboard shortcuts can help you save time during your sessions. In this video PandaEngineer shares a set of recording keyboard shortcuts for Pro Tools on Mac. Shortcuts covered include the following:

Enable Record: Shift + R
Half-Speed Record: Shift + Cmd + Spacebar
Create New Track: Shift + Cmd + N
Choose Track Type: Cmd + (Down Arrow)
Choose Mono / Stereo Track: Cmd + (Right Arrow)
Number of New Tracks: Shift + Ctrl + (Up Arrow)
Create More Tracks: Shift + Cmd + (Down Arrow)
Name Next Track: Cmd + (Right Arrow)
Narrow Mix: Optn + Cmd + M
Wide Meters: Ctrl + Optn + Cmd + (Click on Meter)

Im using a hp envy ,I had a sony vaio and the record button was f12 ,but my f12 button is air plane mode on my hp..please help me if you can with the shortcut..thanks
