Actually sugarlips, I carried one in the Army for 4 years. I currently own 3 47s and one 74. That said, if the shtf I would want an AR. Provided its a Colt. Perhaps not as reliable as an AK, but I would trust my life to it. I'd feel more comfortable with it as it trained with it for so long. My next run will either be the HK MR233 or Colt 6920. Just depends on what HK decides to charge

.22's just doesn't have enough recoil. I have gotten a few shot bursts from a 10/22 but it's tough.

Right now I'm down to 3 AR's. The 9mm you saw and a 233 just like it and a varmint with a 24 in heavy barrel. Still have 1 Chinese AK, 2 12ga autos and a few handguns. I used to have a small arsenal but sold most if it when I moved to Florida.
