Gov. Granholm Visits CMU- Interview by Wendy Day

Governor Granholm is making another sweep through the state. This time she is trying to mobilize college students into pressuring elected officals to raise taxes (mostly on the working poor). Common Sense in Government was there, along with some fantastic young activists, asking students not to drink Granholm's kool-aid and offering a glass of our own instead- based on facts.

Wendy, you're doing an amazing job. Even as venues are small, TV coverage is nonexistent, we have to continue to make our voices heard and support those who endorse less government control. Thank you. My son lost his "earned" promise money, the only college assistance we were ever eligible for since we pay taxes, work and contribute. Sadly, it wasn't a surprise.

of course, that's the only solution for a Democrat...RAISE TAXES...!! Never analyze spending for cutbacks, duplicate programs, waste, fraud...duhhh....
