@BrickLaneBetty She wasn't all country and sweet twang. She did Rockabilly too, which counts as Rock N' Roll. She was also controversial with some of her lyrics at that time. Maybe to you she didn't crack the boys club(arguable) but she was still huge in her time and she was rock n' roll.
