This tune was also used on ASN (now A Atlantic) back when ASN was launched on all Atlantic cable TV providers in 1983, saying "Hello, Atlantic Canada".

Bruce McKay and Paul Mennier are in the curling scenes.They did,and I believe still do news and sports respectively for ATV home in Nova Scotia.

Guy with black hair at 10 is Steve Abrams. He anchored in the early '80s. CFAC News used Hello Calgary as their theme for the closing credits on Fridays in the early 80's as well but without words.
