I have a question: When do we burn more fossil fuels? When it's cold or when it's warm?

Ecellent. ( I meant to rate it 5 stars, but I'm sleep viewing...) I love how you keep it simple. - ( and magical with the introduction of the "carbon") That's all people really need to know. We don't need to know all the scientific details, just that what we do matters. We need to change our collective impact. To do that we change from greed and oi based economics to sustainable - real valued economics. peace,j

CO is not a large component of smog.
Where on earth are you getting your information?

There has been debate regarding the title of this video.
Various forms of carbon have been set free by humans from their sequestration, over a short period of time, and continuously.
We call it Smog. Smog is a general term for air pollution.
The official term is Criteria Pollutants.
I could have said The Earth on Smog, but Carbon is more specific. It's associated with Burning.
It is not meant to be taken literally, any more than that your brain is a fried egg, although in some cases...

Smog is not a general term for air pollution.
Smog is a very specific pollution that is formed duraction reaction between certain pollutants in sunlight.

Thanks for setting me straight on that.
How do you feel about the term pollution? Is that general enough to include the various checmicals that pollute our environment?

Awe, my comments hurt your feelings.

I was busy the last time you came to attack.
CO is a large component of smog. Smog is soot, and soot is black.
Criteria pollutants: These are man-made pollutants such as carbon monoxide, nitrogen oxides, nonmethane volatile organic compounds, and sulfur dioxide, that have indirect effects on global warming. They are primarily emitted as byproducts of fossil fuel and biomass combustion. Lead and particulates are also criteria pollutants.

You failed to make a meaningful point.
What was the point of the diorama with the dumping of the black dye into the water and your personal attacks on me?
You failed to make any correct statements or make a valid point.

Maybe I should just change the name of the video to "The Earth on Smog" or The Earth on Pollution"
Then you would agree.
But I see that it really irritates you, so I think I'll leave it the way it is.
