Video/Photos never reproduce exactly how "bad" things are... it doesn't look bad in the video, but I guarantee it's one hell of a hill!

@jasonmccoll They might not be the best in the world but they are there, have qualified from a field of 1800 riders of all levels and are giving it a go. Have you been there and tried - I suspect not! When you have then come back on here and explain why they drop their bikes from experience and not just gobbing off. Many of the competitors are amateurs and hobby riders who embrace the challenge of the Hare Scramble at Erzberg so do yourself a favour, get there, ride it and if you can beat it.

Why do they all let their bikes fall over when they come to a stop?They should be just spinning the bike around and heading back down to try again!I cant remember the last time I dropped my bike at the end of a hillclimb Not that Im good but most of these guys are very poor hillclimbers .Thanks for the upload, any footage from Erzberg is great footage Keep them coming

They can fall over so that they will be taken up with the rope.
Most people do not want to try 100 times that it is time limited.
For the whole ore, they may need six hours

I dont think you relise how steep and long those hills really are, these riders are not poor, they are the best enduro riders in the world and if you think you could do better why dont you try it
