There are over 4 million responses at change.org and the number one question --- over 22,000 posed --- is will Obama appoint a special prosecutor to look into torture, illegal surveillance, and extraordinary rendition by members of the Bush administration. The easiest way for new leaders to dodge moral responsibility is to say 'lets look to the future'. Nuremberg had no such defence. New leadership must set right the wrongs committed in the name of its Office.
The end does not justify the means. GWB is now a publically admitted war criminal and must be held accountable to the very standards the US and free world holds dear. Even a President of the United States is not above international law.

Can't say I'm impressed by Obama's response. He's afraid perhaps. Turley is indeed correct.
