Prune fig trees in the fall/winter to get them to branch out and produce more succulent fruit. Container grown allows you to store the tree in 35 degree temps for overwintering success.

  • No it's not too late. I even lightly tip prune my tree during the season if I see it getting leggy. But note, the fruit is produced on the ends of the branches as they grow out. As new branches develop, fruit will also develop. There may be a little lag time in fruit development...So perhaps you prune part now and part in the fall as the tree goes dormant.

    Good Luck, Larry

Do email me with your requests, I can ship to the States. The trees are under 2kgs.in weight for shipping.,usually about 2 years old and well formed. Now the Fig Trees are without leaves. So now is the time to buy and plant.......
