My Immortal

Okay, so this is my first completely AU vid and it's a Claire/Isaac, or Claisaac, pairing. It's set in the 'Five Years Gone' universe and it's about how Clare remembers Isaac on the fifth anniversary of his death. Here's what happens in the vid.

Present: Five years after Isaac's death, Claire is finally moving on. The day before the anniversary of his murder, Claire begins to feel nostalgic and starts to remember her short time with Isaac.

Flashback 1: Because of certain circumstances, Mr. Bennet brings Claire along to visit Isaac and Claire is immediately entranced by the broken man in front of her, while Isaac tries (and fails) not pay her any mind.

Flashback 2: Claire returns to Isaac's "apartment" later that night and, after a short discussion, they both find that they have special abilities. As she leaves, Claire glances back at Isaac and tells him that he's her hero.

Present: Afraid that Isaac's spirit will never let her go, Claire approaches her fiancee, Andy, and suggests that they elope. Tonight. He questions her sudden spontaneity and she asks if he'd do it...for her. Andy tells her that he'd do anything for her and they kiss. A bit later, Matt Parkman, someone she thought she'd left behind in New York appears and her world crumbles.

Flashback 3: Entering their apartment, Claire discovers drugs on the table and Isaac clinging to his last thread of sanity in order to beat his addiction to them and she can't help but give him a sad smile in return.

Flashback 4: Later, Isaac is caught by Claire and they argue. Isaac is convinced that he can save the world and be a hero but all Claire is convinced about is that he needs help. She tells him that he can't just say he's sorry and make everything go away before storming off as Isaac looks down at the mural of New York exploding on the floor of their loft.

Flashback 5: After cooling down, Claire returns and she begins a discussion with Isaac, telling him she's worried his addiction will get worse. Midway through the conversation, however, the drugs Isaac took take effect and he collapses to the floor, unconscious, causing Claire to go into a panic.

Present: The day of Isaac's murder, Claire has arrived at her father's house. Nathan appears and they have a small argument about how Nathan's revelation of those with abilities made everyone afraid of them. Claire asks how he decides who's special and starts to storm off, but Nathan grabs her by the arm and yanks her around to face him.

Flashback 6: In their loft, Isaac is attacked by Sylar and gives up, convinced that he finally gets what he wanted. To be a hero.

Flashback 7: As Claire is packing up some things from Nathan's house, Peter enters and tells her she can't leave. She says she has to and Peter tells her what happened to Isaac. Claire is devastated and can't think of anything to say, remembering what happened the night before at their loft.

Present: Claire suddenly realizes that the man standing before her is not really her father and turns to flee, meeting an invisible resistance as she remembers how Isaac was killed.

Flashback 8: Sylar pins Isaac down with his own brushes before approaching him to take his ability.

Present: As Nathan raises his hand, blood gushes down Claire's face and she murmurs Sylar's name as she dies.

Ending: On the other side, Claire returns to the place she felt was always her true home-New York, in pristine condition. She is sitting in the park, sad and alone, when she glances up and sees Isaac standing before her. They stare at each other for a moment before Claire jumps up and runs to him. Reunited again in the afterlife, Claire finally tells Isaac what she meant to tell him before he died-that he made her feel like she was special-and all he can do is look at her in awe before wiping the joyful tears from her cheek.

He's actually had them since the first time he showed up in the second episode of season one. But he wasn't freezing things actually, he was using telekinesis to stop her from running.
