Except - E Suhr was 5-9 and Roth is 6-2. Roth averages around 30ppg in HS and Suhr avg about 14. Roth is a top 150 player and Suhr was not ranked in top 300.

They are both white though and come from states beginning with I. So you have a point.

I have seen this footage before and it's quite impressive. I also realize this was only his junior year. I just watched him play on TV this past weekend in the IHSA 3A semifinals. I was blown away and extremely impressed in how he went 6-12 on 3 pointers in the semi game vs Marshall and made two of them from approx 25 feet out. It's a major loss for the top Illinois colleges like Depaul and U of I that they lose this guy to another state school (Indiana).

je is a great shooter with eric gorfon range no lie i've seen him play. he has decent defense 4 a high school player he is going to have to get alot faster thats his only down fall if he gets the speed that he needs look out IU Matt Roth is constant 3pt threat..so keep it up Matt

I have played ball with Matt my whole life. And only once has he taken 20 shots in a game in his HS career, and thats when he went 13/21 with 12 3's against Normal U-High. Matt is a phenomenal ball player, IU is extremely lucky to have him. He can shoot with ease from 30 feet out.

i agree that much of the offense is designed to get him the ball.... but for good reason. hes lights out. maybe his defense inst as good as his offense but come on.... the kid can shoot!
