I love your checklist - great job! The one thing I will disagree with, though, is that there are in fact STRUCTURAL privileges to being cisgender over transgender. I think that is what the Cisgender Privilege Checklist was referring to. I think it's important to remember that while some trans folks have access to hormones, surgury, and counseling (if they want those things), many others do not. Thanks for posting on the positive experiences of being transgender! I enjoyed watching.

I really love your paper. And it was so brave of you to read it aloud to the class. Did people who didn't realize you're trans seem surprised by it?
I really loved the positive spin on all this. Because, as you said, the media makes being trans out to be some horrible thing with absolutely no positivity coming from the trans identity.
I think this is really amazing to hear you speaking up about this. You're a great advocate, both for yourself, and the trans community in general.
