  • I WANT THE PAK43 IN SPRINGRTS OK NEMO ??

  • In terms of the 'largest, heaviest and most powerful AT gun' in the Wehrmacht - there was also the PaK/KwK 44 - 128mm guns which sawed some service during WWII - it was practically more powerful in terms of damage compared to the PaK 43 but unlike the PaK 43 it did not have as awesome AP capabilities (it was similar though) given the muzzle velocity and charge were much heaiver and lower than the PaK 43, though the PaK 44 was still potent. Hence PaK 43 -> most powerful AT using HVAP.

  • "homo self-propelled gun" :DDDDD

nah really, I know it's Hummel, but still...

  • @TheBierJunkie

HaHa die können "yeah" sagen aber nicht Jäger, was soll man da noch sagen.

  • panzerjÄÄÄger not jager :DDD

  • @pveg65 Actually all 3 Jagdpanther, Nashorn and Elefants are all excellent defenders :) But Nashorn > Elefant as it was faster :) But Elefant has thick armour :)

  • @PkayerZxz2 That was one reason. Another was that there was a lack of resources for the plans and poor timing. Yes gun barrel length of nearly 7 metres on a Panther? The PaK 43 was 6 metres long roughly. Not to mention the PaK 43 was expensive and required barrel replacement if firing high velocity rounds. On the other hand have you heard of Max and Mortitz? The story of the Stuhrer Emil? It mounted a monstrous 12.8 cm K L/61 on an Early Tiger I VK3001 chassis - surprisingly it was successful :)

  • @HeirofGojira91 It probably couldn't have handled the gun.

  • @PkayerZxz2 You know it was planned for the Panther tank to mount a PaK 42 75mm L/100 gun instead of the basic L/70 gun - I wonder how that would have fared against the PaK 43...

  • @0willsy01 Yep.
