@breadan123 and the armor you get after the 2nd quest ( i think it is the 2nd quest ) is great light armor which also helps your sneaking lockpicking and other things to do with thievery. very useful

i really suggest you join the thieves guild. i did that as soon as i started the game as a khajit. i went straight to the thieves guild. i find it really fun, a REALLY good source of coin, and a good way to level up skills. and once you get the skeleton key, it is amazing :D
