I saw Roy at the Cleveland Agora in 1981, and my ears are still ringing.
I think it's dubious he hanged himself. The fuzz were getting tired of complaints from his playing so loud.

Check out "Hey JOe," "voices" and "Rodney's Song" too!!! All off the same album. I live in LA, but I heard it first when I was in Amsterdam in 1974.

No doubt Roy was one of a kind and one of the best. If you enjoy him, you'll probably also like Danny Gatton.

Roy Buchanan was awesome. I think it's time for someone to cover this song and remind people that it exists.
