Don't buy a Slow Loris as a pet

A police contact confiscated two (I think) pygmy slow lorises from a poacher and asked for out help to release them. We'll keep them in the cage for a day or two to make sure they're strong (& haven't been defanged) and release them on property. Don't buy a slow loris as a pet! They are all wild caught and have had their teeth removed before they get to you.

You tube remove all items relating to endanger species whatever they are, they should act responsibly and stop anything that could be perceived as encouraging morons to keep inappropriate animals in cages, the whole thing is awful

Why do people want to make a pet of one of these beautiful creatures instead of making sure it and its kind are safe and protected? The human desire to have something, be it fancy goods, animals, babies, it is terrible and often destructive. Too many people keep making excuses and saying that poor people sell these creatures. Well, they wont have any left if the keep on and then they will be surprised if some other enterprising person wants to sell THEM.

Humans have a blatant disregard for equilibrium and are slowly killing the planet and everything on it. Watch the videos on the Kruger crocs turning to rubber and the Great Pacific Garbage Patch (100 million tons of plastic in the ocean). Perhaps the human race needs a cataclysmic event to make us realise what to value in life; money is nothing compared to caring for everything around us!!

As much as i think slow lorises are adorable and would so love to have one around, I agree that they really aren't made to be pets.
