JustKeepRunning [JBLove] #17 part 2

Omg here's ep. 17 part 2!! Ahhhh I know I haven't posted for soooooo long!!! I'm reallyyy sorry!! Things have been CRAZY!!! Yes ok so the last part was about Joe and Sam and here's Kevin & jen.... Oh!! And I forgot about Frankie! :O how mean of me! Haha ya so he'll be on when like all this "drama" is over kayy? Haha x]

Recap-- After sitting on the steps for almost 2 hours (crying), they went inside to play guitar hero. When they finished their 5th game, there pulled up outside was a black jaguar, and then there came a knock at the door that may change jenny's life, forever.....

*knock,knock*

jen gets up to go get the door while kevin plops himself on the couch.

JEN: *opens door* hello?

She sees a man in a black suit w/ sunglasses holding a breif case.

MAN: come with me please.
JEN: uhm why?
MAN: its about your sister.
JEN: my sister? I don't have a sister.
MAN: then that is why you need to come with me *holds out a badge* im from child services. We need you to come down to the building.
JEN: what? Im telling you I DON'T HAVE A SISTER!
MAN: is your name Jennifer Sharpe?
JEN: yes?
MAN: then this is your younger sister.
*kevin comes up behind jen listening*
JEN: are you sure? My parents..-pauses/chokes-... never told me about having a second child.
MAN: this is why we need you to come to the office.
JEN: *takes a deep breath* ok.

Her and kevin follow the child serivices man into his black jaguar and drive to the building. When they walk through the doors, Jen gets chills sent up her spine. The place had an eerie feel to it. Seeing all these children and adults in offices. And parents. How could she not have known that she had a little sister? Why didn't her parents tell her?

Kevin and Jen kept following the guy until they reached a room with a lady sitting at a desk and a baby in a crib. (a/n: I have NO idea what that kind of place looks like so im just going to make this up)

(*CSGUY:child services guy*)
CSGUY: here have a seat *motioned for kevin and jen to sit down in the seats infront of them*

They sat. the guy sat in another chair by the door.
Jen was shaking uncontrollably. Her hands were grasped together holding them trying to not make it so obvious that shes scared and nervous. Her plan is not working because kevin leans over and grabs hold of her hands as if he was sending a signal for her to relax.

When jen felt kevins hands holding hers, she emmidietly stopped shaking. The warmth from his hands warmed her whole body.

LADY: hello. Are you Jennifer Sharpe?
JEN: yes.
LADY: and this is? *gestures to kevin*
KEVIN: im kevin.
JEN: so uhmm whats this about? *looks over at the baby in the crib*
LADY(call her sharol): that's your baby sister. And you're her closest relative. You just need to sign some papers and your all se--*jen cuts her off*
JEN: wait. Hold up! How can this be my baby sister? My parents never said anything to me. How could they not have said anything?! *tears in her eyes*

Jen was getting fustrated. She didn't know wether to believe that, that little thing was now going to be her responsibility. Her parents never even bothered to call or at least write. She knew they loved her. But why couldn't they have atleast told her about having a baby sister?

SHAROL: well we found a letter in the house on the table addressed to you. So we brought you over here. *hands jen the letter*
JEN: *opens the letter**reads it*

Dear Jennifer,
Your father and I are truly sorry that we never stay in touch anymore. The real reason we are sending this letter is because you have a new baby sister! Her names Madison. Maddie for short. She was born on january 6th 2008. I didn't even realize I was pregnant untill I relized I never got my period. I hope you two will become the best of friends! Even though you guys are so far apart. I will want you to come and baby sit some time. And maybe just come over so we can all, as you kids say, "chill out". *jen gave out a little laugh* I miss you jen. Your father and I both. We are really sorry about that night. We never thought you would have acctually left us. But please accept our apology? We love you!

When Jen was completely done reading, a single tear fell onto the paper. Her hair was covering her face so no one noticed how sad she looked. After an awkward moment of silence, jen finally spoke—
JEN: where do I sign?
KEVIN: *whispers* are you going to go through with this?
JEN: *whispers back* I have to Kevin. She's my one and only sister.

With that said, she signs all the paper work that needs to be done. While she was doing that, Kevin walked out of the room to call Sam and Joe.

Blahhhhhhhh idk where to end it. I don't like this chapter but this is just like a "to let you know" kind of chapter. So up next: Mandy and nick.
