Pick your favourite redhead and get inspired by the SHADES OF SCARLET -- shades of blood, fire, love, majesty, sunrises, danger, roses, sin, lust, joy, power, life, cherries, Mars (zeh planet and god of war, not the candy!!!), cruelty, rubies, sunsets, nocturnal rainbows...
Share with us the fires and the shadows of your red-haired character and mesmerize us with her/his story, tell us why you think your chosen redhead is the most epic of all!!!

#Only Scarlet haired characters allowed (includes, red, orange, pink, magenta)
# Anime and Game characters only (only pick one. No live action..!!)
# NO Slideshows.
# Must be your own work
# MUST BE NEW VIDEOS!!

-- This is a two rounded contest --

In this two rounded contest, contestants who choose to enter the first round, will be voted into the second round by the audience of Youtube in a public vote +the jury
6 contestants will be voted to continue to the second round

The first round of videos requires;

- A trailer video of your chosen redhead character introducing who they are
- Time frame from 50 seconds to 2 minutes


ENTRIES OF FIRST ROUND WILL BE ACCEPTED UNTIL 22/01/2012

The second round of videos requires;

- Create a deeper conflict video for your character, with a conflict and resolution
- Time frame of 1:50 minutes to 6 minutes (7 minutes extended)

ENTRIES OF SECOND ROUND WILL BE ACCEPTED UNTIL 17/3/2012

The 6 contestants will be judged by the selected jury to decide the top 3 places

Question: I really want to enter this contest but all of the entries that I have looked at so far seem to have a dark theme to them and my idea is a little more lighthearted. I mean, there's still a conflict to be resolved and stuff but it's not quite as serious as some of the entries I've seen. Is this okay? Is there some rule that I missed that says there has to be darkness? O_o

@XsimplycomplicatedXx No, there is indeed no rule that you can only enter with dark themes, lol. I'm actually not quite sure why the dark side seems to prevail in the entries so far. Maybe because the host is a monster? :P

It's absolutely okay if you bring some lightheartedness into the mix, go for it!
