A basic how-to on how I describe knitting in the round in my book, Baby Beanies: Happy Hats to knit for little heads.

I forgot to mention in the video, after I've knit those two stitches together I use a fourth DPN to knit the round. :)

  • wondering how to transfer to the circular needles once you have knitted the crown? can't find anything about how to do it. thanks!

  • @03girlsmom Hi :) Just start knitting onto your circular needle, as if you were moving from one DPN to another. You will be transferring your stitches onto the circular rather than just moving them around from DPN to DPN. Likewise, to go from a circular needle to a DPN, simply start knitting onto DPNs, being sure to spread your stitches out evenly. Hope that helps!
