Thats a cop out 100mwaterproof!I dont buy that being brazilian makes you a harder worker in terms of surfing and achieving a higher climb up the ladder. The populous of competition surfers is at a much lower standard and therefore the odd competitor having standout skills is put at a much higher advantage. If Brazilians are thought to have so much difficult competition in Brazil then wouldn't that mean we should have a world title by now? Medina hasn't got shit on Slater! fark,Wheres ur head at?

Medina's way better, just look at their career results. Plus Medina's had to work harder being that he is Brazillian and it seems the ASP are always trying to push a 'people's champion'. I.e An Australian or USA champ. He's the real deal, quite possibly the only surfer to match or possible surpass Slater's feats given that Gab's just turning 18 won 2/4 events since joining the tour, a quarterfinal finish in his first pipe masters.
