I have Parkinson's Disease and spasmodic dysphonia. In this video, I show what I've been learning about dealing with SD. the rocking motion is dyskinesia, a side-effect of my PD meds.

Your videos demonstrate that we are not alone in this experience; they inform others with normal speaking voices what SD is about; and they offer us treatment options to discuss with our doctors or therapists. There is effective treatment out there!!! Why struggle so much. If you have an ENT of movement disorder specialist, you can use Botox injections and have a normal voice.
