Just a glimpse of the struggles of an introvert, along with some very influencial advise at the end.

__________________________________________________
**Side Note** Clarification for those that might be confused about Introverts (haha, or think that I am). I am a comedian, and some of the jokes are simply about me, not universal truths about every introvert.

Introversion is not the same as shyness. Introvert can be very good at conversation and very well spoken, but we often need to see a purpose in communication (hence the guy that doesn't care for small talk to the party).

Introvert do like people. Most Introverts care so intensely for their friends but they limit how many close friends they keep. **I personally like almost everyone that I meet, but that's not necessarily a universal trait of all introverts**

Introverts don't always want to be alone, we like getting out and spending time with people. We just need time alone afterwards to recharge. Do you recharge by being with a group of people (extrovert) or do you recharge when you spend some time alone (introvert)?

I am an ISTJ. I am strong on the IS side, but the TJ sides are not quite as one-sided. My wife would swear I am an F instead of a T, but the test all show ISTJ.

Why in the world would you add a laugh track to this?

Do you really want to know, or are you simply trying to be mean? Most of my comedy if performed live with audience laughter in the background. The audio for this clip was simply recorded on a computer and animated. If you watch multiple clips of mine in a row, this one sounds 'off' without the laughter in the background. You will notice it not all laugh track, there is a small live audience, but not the one that I typically have. Trolling or not, that's the answer.

You did a good job with your video. One thing that you do very well is to actually look at the camera, which some people feel funny doing with a webcam. Glad you are embracing being introverted, because we are a special group indeed!

Most of my life I felt like an alien, but no longer. Today when I'm at parties I behave like an introvert. I scan the room and begin a conversation with someone that seem interesting in some way, and I usually end up listening to that person's lifestory, for hours, in a quiet corner somewhere. To me that is an often occurring and also rewarding, gift. I feel very appreciated; since I'm often able to bring people deeper into themselves, than they are able to travel with others, or/and themselves.

Phone calls are one thing I dread, yet I find voicemail even worse.

I get stuck trying to formulate a sentence with no 'lead-in' on what to say. Then there's the fact that I stutter 10x worse over voicemail, to the point I'm incredibly lucky to get anything beyond 'uhhh hi I... yeah'.

And people ask why I didn't just leave a message. It's easier to just call a couple times and hope to get a person. For voice operated voice messages (like 'say 1 for...') I say nothing until I get the operator.

I personnaly enjoy being introvert, i hate talking with people for no reasons, if theire is no real purpose to a conversation it's pointless to me. Besides I don't care about people's stories and hate to fake listening so i usually don't talk much and i'm fine with it. However if i have to talk to somebody anyway, my face go crazy, it's like i can't control it and i make strange and totally unatural expressions. Whatever, This video is so true. (i'm an intj by the way)

extroverts and introverts may not get along but can you talk to people half way there. Even I don't care much for chit chat sometimes, but there are topics of interest. You can have a conversation but you lack life experience and interests to carry one through. What do you do with your life?
