  • @haggar11 I stated in my description that I followed the How-to on the OVPN site, which uses routed mode.

For those of you that this tutorial doesn't work, I'm assuming it may be due to there being a newer version requiring different steps.

Obviously I didn't miss a step otherwise the test at the end would have failed.

  • didnt understand what it said at 1:08 could you post that for me please ? cheers

    great vid though

  • Hey. When you go to the openvpn/easy-rsa/2.0/ directory, there is a file called "vars". It has all the defaults answers for the questions that appear later on while building certificates. I edited using the program "vim". Feel free to open it your text editor of choice. You can manually put the answer to each of those questions later on, however just editing the file once allows you to hit enter all the way through.

Take a look at the file and play the rest of the video and it'll be clear

  • Eww linux

  • This worked for me, only problem I had was that for some reason it hated having ~/ in the client.conf, but that was an easy fix. Everything else was step-by-step what was on the screen here. Agreed that it would be nice to have better quality, but good enough.

    Thanks bro.

  • yeah I can also confirm this guide does not work any more. Think this was the problem: Note: Cannot open TUN/TAP dev /dev/net/tun: No such file or directory (errno=2)

  • Wish the video was a higher resolution was hard to read the terminal. With that being said this tutorial was extremely helpful and I got my VPN working!

  • I COULDN"T SEE SHIT!

  • This is getting to be impossible.
