Borderlands for PC on XP - Dynamic Shadows glitch created at will and fixed at will. Repeatable everytime. Must be something to do with the vending machine overlay?

  • @stefmor90 actually model number does not matter, it's just the higher model usually means better hardware on ati cards alot of the time

  • hey when i installed borderlands on my other computer and played it everything was all fucked up and gray with differnt skins it played the starting cutsecene no problem anyone know how too fix it cause i rlly rlly wana play 2players with my friend

  • @mrsamburton lol a Radeon x1950, you wont get anywhere near running this game on all low with that card, i say you should get in Radeon 4000 series or above

  • its because your alt tabbing the game

  • why the hell dont you stfu? dont open your pie unless you actually have something useful to say....

btw. I upgraded my gfx card to a 8800 gtx oc and dont get this issue anymore.

  • Why the hell do you still use SP2? Upgrade to SP3 (if you at least know how...)

  • Using a 8800 GS, got the problem after the patch, alt-tab @ vendor doesn't fix, changing the resolutions back and forth does help, thanks.

  • btw, people who are getting this issue, post what basic specs you are using, might help the devs?

    Core 2 Duo E7500

    Radeon X1950 XTX 512mb (9.11 Catalyst)

    Gigabyte G33-DS2R

    4GB DDR2 RAM

    XP Pro SP2

  • yes, i get the same thing. switch res then switch back generally fixes it. hope a perm fix is released at some point....

  • If alt tabbing again doesn't work, switch your resolution to something far from what you normally use, I generally pick 320x240 and then click NO when it asks me if I want to keep my changes.

    Fixes shadows perfectly.
