At least this 93 has no bullshit EPA DPF filter on it, god this new "green" technology isn't even worth it, what a waste.

@jt4265 wheres a 2000 hp cummins?
i've seen 1400 and 2400 foot #'s but i dont recall a 2000 hp cummins
-
@jt4265 way more then most people who mod their diesel will ever invest, both financialy and time-wise.
takes a damn genius
-
@THEuncleshank hey mines under 250!
im not saying its necessary, im saying all of the big 3's diesels have come a long way.
just like how dodges trucks have taken leaps and bounds, as far as the actual truck/drivetrain goes.
-
don't trash that gorgeous 1st gen! oh hell it's too fun to resist. haa
-
@THEuncleshank i gotta correct you on this. to date, as far as i know, no dmax or powerstroke has turned more hp than a cummins. if you have state of the art tuning, access to the best of everything, and a machine shop, or you're just filthy rich, you can get a dmax to 1500 hp. demetri millard just did it. but i've never ever seen a dmax get higher than that. and there are plenty of 2000 hp 5.9 cummins out there. cummins is the best powerhouse out there. period. and they don't break as much.
-
@jmanwild demetri just broke 1500 with his. but that's rare. most dmax's don't see more than 1000. cummins is the only motor that turns the big numbers, 1500 to 2000 hp. but with that having been said there is so much engineering into those trucks that they are 100 percent purpose built. most of them are sled pull trucks. although ts performance has a 1500 hp drag truck. but most people don't understand what it takes to make any truck turn numbers like that. it's insane.
-
@jmanwild why does anyone need that much power? compensating for something i guess. ok so i was wrong, you cant get 1500hp out of a truck. the most i have is 330 and im getting around, somehow.
-
ok first off, no, you cant get 1500 horse out of a powerstroke or "durashit" (real clever)
demetri millard is the only one in the world to break 1300 horse on a durm, to date.
as well, noone has made even close to those number on a powerstroke, even cummins its rare to get a 1500 horse one. lots of guys struglgle to get past 1200
-
@THEuncleshank haha its funny cause u sound like your trying to convince me its not good.
if you knew what the truck went through you'd be impressed. no its not a cummins but its not bad either, still better then a gas...
I doubt you'll have to worry; from what i've been told Cummins are barely broken in when they hit 200k.
Most diesels can live to see 4 or 500k miles before they need any major work; main reason i'm making my next vehicle a cummins Ram 8)
