anyone noticed that the song sherlock played for john could be seen as an answer to his question? ^^; and don't forget that john got his "happy new year" first- while watching this eppi I couldn't stop imagine the writers giggle about all those little hints they put in almost every scene. ;) food for hungry shippers. :D

I'm sorry to ruin this for you all but I don't think it's actually Benedict that plays the song. His fingering looks a bit wrong and the way he moves his bow arm looks a bit awkward and stiff for being someone who has been playing the violin a lot for many years (which Sherlock is supposed to have done). You can't be good at everything but Benedict Cumberbatch, you are great at SO MUCH ELSE!
