A collection of my favorite videogame music. Note that most of them are from games I played so I might miss some great ones from games I never played.

  • I find this to be a really pleasant sounding theme. The intrumentation is great and the melody is fun, just like the game. It really starts getting in your head after a couple listens.

  • My friends and I will set this song on repeat and let it play in the background while we hang out. After a while, it just feels natural, like it was always supposed to be there... we can let it play for hours with out complaints.

  • this is a really well composed soundtrack i wasnt expecting of such from a game but i could throw this onto my ipod and listen all day.

  • Oh god yes, Neverhood!

    I love you now SupraDarky!

  • @MrNorbert1994 Now that you say that, there is a striking resemblance between their character designs.

  • Earthworm Jim, and Neverhood are the BEST video games ever created. I NEED TO SAY THAT. Both games were created by Doug TenNapel.

  • Reminds me of something that would come from Sesame Street.

  • @masterplusmargarita What you say is very sensible. Valve seems more interested in Steam at the moment, and one game from Valve or Blizzard or Bethesda every 5 years isn'6 going to keep gaming alive! You are right about Indie games, but I think you are forgetting the second tier developers in Europe. They don't have $30 million to spend on a game, but they do have $10 million, unlike the Indies that have only $100,000's. I mean AA titles like STALKER, Gothic, Two Worlds and Witcher, etc

  • @HardWarUK I agree: The reason? Because since 2005 (I'd say even earlier, 2002, but let's say 2005), game's prices to produce have reached so high that taking risks is no longer feasible. Before, one game selling badly would cause the studio to try harder next time. Nowadays, one game selling badly will make a studio go bankrupt, so studios tend to go for tried and tested formulas. The only ones who can still get brave are indie developers. VALVe is also still a fan of taking risks.

  • First time I hear of this game, but this music (Pretty goddamn excellent) makes me want to find out about it. Hmm... I wonder how much it's on steam (If it's on there at all)?

  • Brian Badonde on backing vocals.
