I have not been on YouTube very long, and all I can really explain here is that she's probably a wood ant who has laid 6 eggs. The rest is in the video. Please enjoy my first video. Watch only if you're interested in ants. The queen ant was never harmed in this video or ever before.

  • u call that an ant aint and ant meant to be small

  • @noobman6

Wow.... First of all, this is a queen ant, queen ants need to have babies for the rest of her life so they have to be huge. And before you say, "How do you know it's an ant". Well I know because she actually gave birth to 3 ants...

  • @WimboSix hey don't they take care of their babies, like hide them until they are grown up and ready to work, I know that ants of the same kind don't fight against each other.

  • @joejar5 Ya, they do care for their eggs. Also, ants of the same type will fight... The only exception is if they where born from the same colony.

  • @sonyacookie3050 look at their heads the drone usually has a smaller head than the queen USUALLY

  • hey i cought two really big ants with a really wings do you reckon they are queens to be or drones.

    plz answer

and one of my worker ants keep tryin to pull off the ants wings why is this?????

  • @robomantis Cool, thanks. :)

  • @joejar5 I agree haha! Minus the creepy part haha ;-D

  • @robomantis O ok well thanks for the notice, and that's very interesting :). Insects, it's AMAZING how God's creatures like these can ALSO be and are interesting in many ways, despite how creepy they are :) :p lol.

  • @joejar5 1 Question how would you expect the babies to grow without food? Answer... They don't. They care for all the babies. i've been keeping ants for many years. Ants of the same species do fight. They have colony odors. If they smell different they fight. No matter the species.

  • @maximumdirk They are easy to find. In the USA its illegal to ship queen ants across state boarders. It prevents invasive species from spreading.

  • @WowLumkin Sizes vary with species. The thing to look for is the big thorax

  • I think I might have found a queen ant Im not sure.... Its big but Im not sure its be enough can some one give me an estimate of the size?

  • cool
