In the 1850's, a revolutionary thought entered Jefferson Davis's mind that would end isolationism and begin imperialism for the then separate nations of America: the camel. Able to pack hundreds of miles across the Southwest without a drop of water, these camels were astounding in both their effect on transportation and foreign relations. Prepare to experience a documentary about adequacy overshadowed by war, technology, and corruption.

  • When horses came across camels for the first time it usually scared the crap out of them. When the Romans came in on horses and came up against the Carthaginians riding camels, a lot of the horses threw their riders off and wouldn't engage in battle

  • Wow interesting! Who'd a thunk it, many yanks were camel-haters!
