  • I am not entirely in favor of the U.S. policy regarding Israel, either, but don't let your anti-Israel stance blind you from the entire scope of the facts.

  • To the commenters below:

Yes, the U.S.' support for Israel is a major reason for Muslim anti-American sentiment, which Wright does not deny, and he discusses this reason in his book 'The Looming Tower'. However, it is not the exclusive reason, as the U.S. military presence in the Ummah (Muslim community), specifically the Arabian Peninsula, was expressed by ObL and AaZ as being motivation to attack the United States, whom they equated to modern Christian Crusaders.

  • @nubbs whats insane about what he said ? it IS self evidently the motivating factor,.... how do i know this ? well, THEY FUCKING TOLD US IT WAS!!!!!!! just because the media, faithfully parroting the official line, tell you they hate us "for our freedoms" doesn't mean that it is the motivating factor.

disclaimer for IDIOTS, I'm not justifying it, I'm just telling you WHY they hate us.

  • @representativepress

    are you fucking insane?

  • Lawrence Wright had to be shamed into admitting that the Israeli-Palestinian conflict was a motivating factor. Check out my video ""Sit Down!" The Power to Silence Part 1" and part 2 to see this weasel in action.
