Cadet send-off for dragon boat victim

It is a grand cadet send-off for teenager Chiah Zi Jun who died in the dragon boat tragedy on Sunday January 17, 2010. Hundreds of his school mates from Chung Ling High School, teachers, headmaster and family members mourn the death of a promising young man who was described as an inspiring, cheerful and determined person.
The dragon boat tragedy which occurred on Sunday morning took the lives of one teacher, Chin Aik Siang, 28 and five students, Jason Chng, Goh Yi Zhang, Brendon Yeoh, Wong all 17 years old and Wang Yong Xian, 16. The rest of the 18-members dragon boat team from Chung Ling High School managed to swim to shore or rescued by nearby fisherman.
