The Defence Pact they signed was to come to the aid or declare war on the nation that attacks 1 of the 3 nations in the pact not the axis which the allies called them. Because Germany attacked Russia, Japan did not feel obligated to open a second front on Russia even though Germany felt that by declaring war on the U.S. after Japan Attacked Pearl Harbor, would help sway Japan to do so. They were not friendly with each other as you think and wasnt an axis of evil that you so believe.

Good footage. Basically, the Jap Nation got exactly what it deserved by late 1945. The extremist militarists who ruled the country during the 1930s & 40s COMPLETELY IGNORED, to their ultimate peril, the No.1 Rule in Warfare : "Don't start something you can't finish". In a way, what the Jap Nation got in the way of destruction & mass casualties, not only military but also civilian, was a kind of karmic payback for all the horrible atrocities committed in its name from 1932-45.

Millions of Jap soldiers with broken uniform and sad looking faces were repatriated from China to Japan from 1945-1950s.

However, Emperor Hirohito of Japan, who was one of the three main war criminals in WWII, was allowed by America to continue to be Emperor of Japan until he died in 1989. His counterpart, Hitler of Germainy committed suicide when the Russian entered Berlin in 1945. Mussolini of Italy was shot dead in 1945.

@meisyoukaizi The flying tigers were individuals who volunteered to fight with the Chinese, it wasn't an official deployment, by joining the Chinese they were no longer in the American military. How is that comparable Japanese aggression in the pacific and the attack on Pearl Harbor. Why can't the Japanese accept what they did in WWII? The Germans accept their history, yet you can't, and that is why the older Chinese, Koreans, and Okinawans still hate Japan.
